The Partner Assurance Manager is responsible of the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the assurance process. The Partner Assurance Manager will conduct audits both physically and virtually on behalf of TPML to Programme Managers.

Job Description:

Location: Must be physically based in Malta, to be considered.
You will undertake the following (non-exhaustive) lists of tasks:

  1. Performing – on-site visits to build relationships and to assess clients’ business processes compliance with TPML requirements. Travel will be required within European Union, as required.
  2. Evaluating – The effectiveness of controls in the areas of transaction monitoring, KYB/KYC process, GDPR compliance, data retention, reporting obligations, financial procedures, project management and security procedures.
  3. Compiling – Regular audit reports and follow-ups on corrective actions.
  4. Developing and communicating – Key policy and standard operating procedures to TPML’s clients.
  5. Working – Closely with other risk and control areas.
  6. Providing – Expert assurance advice.
  7. Managing – Multiple audits and activities at the same time.
  8. You will at all times embody the corporate values.

Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • A strong understanding of the principles of audit management and a thorough grounding in monitoring and testing effective controls.
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a methodical, structured approach.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and make an informed judgement on the appropriate course of action.
  • Experience of dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Experience

  • 2:1 degree & at least 5 years of work experience in Financial services; with experience working in a successful regulated environment.
  • Experience of working within an audit and assurance team.
  • Specific experience of Anti-Money Laundering and counter-terrorism financing.
