We are looking to expand the finance team based in Gibraltar in order to service our growing client base with an opening for a FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities

  • Accounting for revenue at client level, and other Balance Sheets items on a monthly basis
  • Production of the month‐end management accounts and consolidated accounts
  • Assist with the budget process
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure that reconciling items are cleared on a timely basis
  • Prepare the Regulatory Supervisory Returns on a quarterly basis
  • Assess capital and working capital adequacy on an on‐going basis
  • Prepare tax returns on an annual basis
  • Liaise with the auditors during the audit
  • Prepare year‐end Financial Statements
  • Review prospective clients’ financial statements
  • Review changes in accounting standards and assess impact on the company
  • Perform any ad‐hoc tasks requested by the Financial Controller

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 year experience working in Finance
  • Part‐qualified or recently qualified from a professional accounting body (preferably CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel to an advanced level
  • Experience using SAGE is preferable
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in e-Money or Prepaid Cards would be an advantage
